In the beginning of the year, I decided to join the school's dance team.

Me and my friends were first selected for school and out of school's performances. So we went to school every Saturday to practice our dance as we were all new comers we need to practice a little more than the seniors. We were all wearing our make-up and were getting ready happily. We went for quite a few performances during the first 8 months.

Then, after that we will all be preparing for the end of the year competition. We all trained hard for the month of September and I was happy that my new friends and I were all selected to join the competition. But our coach told us that in order to dance well in the competition, we must all sacrifice our holiday vacation to come for practice. We were all in for it. So we showed up for practice every single day to prepare for the competition.

Then, the final day came. We were all so nervous but we tried to do our best and we did. Unfortunately, we weren't the best yet. We were aiming for the highest but we still did well. We made our coaches proud and hope they will select us for the coming competition again. After the competition, we will be having another performance in school. I guess our holidays are

full of dances. As I say <My Dance, My Life>

┼.KL TRIP 16DEC-19DEC2011.┼

On the 16th of december, Friday.I followed our school dance club to KL for a dance competition. We went there by bus. We leave school around 10am and reach KL at 5pm. After checking in to the hotel, we went to Tian Hou Gong temple to watch the primary school compete.

The next day, 17th december.Early in the morning 7.30am we leave for Tian Hou Gong temple for rehershal. After our rehershal, we went back to the hotel to get ready for the night's competition. Along the way, we recieve harsh comments from every teacher. They were so mad and we were so sad.

At night, we competed and ended up getting the first prize. We were all so happy that we all shed tears of joy. Besides that, we also have won RM1500 for being the first. After such a joyful moment we return to the hotel feeling more energize than ever. Then the teacher ask us: Wasn't the scolding this morning worth it? We all said: Yeah!!

The following day, 18th december. We competed another dance, i wasn't involve in it but was helping to support them by following them to rehershal early in the morning and watching them perform in the night. They got the same scolding we got the day before. But, yeah, you guessed it, they won the first prize too. And now we have the total of RM4500.

Man.... Two days of staying up late till 2am and waking up at 6am really paid off. Because on the last day. We get to wake up a little bit later at 8am. And after having breakfast in the diner downstairs. We leave happily towards Penang. Although along the way we got scolded again and again, it's all over andworth it now.

Wow! Another year has passed. Now its the year 2012 already!

Since this is clearly talking about dance so lets get on with it.

 Year 2012

Terengganu Trip 7-9June ♥♥

We actually went to Terengganu for a performance. It was in the holidays in June this year.

We practice alot before going there. The dance that we are going to perform are the dances that we went for competition last year. Ithink that because we won last year thats why they called us to perform. In their primary school hall.

We dont have to pay for anything. The people there provided us with bus transport and a bunglow for us to stay in. We went for 3 days. It was fun however 4 of us have to share a room because there were 22 of us and 3 teachers.

Before we reach the bunglow we went for lunch at a coffee shop. The food and water cost RM5 each. So expensive. Beacause we were hungry so we had to eat anyways.

25 of us have to share 2 bathrooms. I couldn't help but to wake up the earliest so that i can bathe first.

On the night of the performance the backstage was very small but it ended well as always. When we got back to the bunglow it was 12am and we still could not sleep because we still need to tidy things up. Moreover none of us even get
the chance to remove our make-up yet. We went to bed at 2.30am and i woke up at 6. There's no need to bathe anymore because we bathe at 12midnight.

The next day, before returning to Penang, we went for a field trip around that area. We went to see the walls that have turtle pictures i forgotten what is that called. We walked on the beach while chatting away. The wind was strong so it was not hot but unfortunately the wind that hit my face was wet. So instead of not sweating, i sweat even more.

 Before we leave, the Terengganu caretakers gifted us some breads that we very nice. Before that, they bought some for us to try and it was very delicious. So we decided to order from them. However, who knows when they brought us our order, they gifted us another two extra packets. I bought three packets and brought ir home to share with my family, it was delicious.

26 Nov (Monday)

We waited at the bus stop at ESSO petrol station in SG. Nibong for our bus.

This bus is not our bus, we have to share it with other tourist. We went off at 8.30am and reached Genting at 2.30pm. We waited in the lobby for 30 minutes before getting into our hotel room. We stayed in First World Hotel. After cheecking out the rooms, it was around 4pm when teacher told us we can have our free time to go walk around. Then we ate dinner in the food court which cost me RM18. Then we went to bed around 10pm.

27 Nov (Tues)

Today we will have our rehersal at 9.30am. Our rehersal was not so good as always but it was alright. Then we had lunch in the food court again. This time 6 of us shared a meal but I still have to pay RM11.60 for it. After lunch it was our free time again. Teacher told us to be back before 7pm. So we have the whole afternoon to ourselves. We decided to go for the Indoor theme park. It was RM30 per person. We played well. We went on the rollercoaster, reindeer cruise, 4D Motion Master, Carousel, Bumper Car. Dinner we ate ourselves in our room.

28 Nov (Wed)

Today is the day of our competition. It begins at 1pm-3.30pm. We woke up at 7.30am and got dress in our costumes before 12pm. We have Marybrown Lunch that cost us RM13. Teacher make-up for us from 8.30am-11.30am. During the start of our performance one of us fell down but stood back up. We were shocked but we continue to dance until the end. We already felt that there was no hope for us in winning already. The results will be anounce on the next day on the closing ceremony. The winner gets to perform on stage for the last time. After that again we have our free time but a short while only form 5pm-7pm. So we went out and bought a 12" Pizza shared by 6 people. Each of us only paid RM6. At night we talked until 11pm before going to bed.

29 Nov (Thurs)

In the morning we will have a workshop at 10.30am-12.30pm. While we were getting ready in the morning, we were suddenly told that we are to perform tonight. We were so shocked and so tired that we wished we wouldn't need to perform. So after the workshop we had lunch (I ate Nasi Lemak that cost RM4.90) Then we get ready from 2.30pm-6pm befroe the performance. The closing ceremony starts at 7.30pm. We watched some of the performance and then only we went to prepare for ours. After all the performance it was time to announce the awards ceremony. They have band, choir, dance and chinese orchestra. The grand prize for band was the kids from Hong Kong, choir are from HengEe if I have not mistaken, chinese orchestra for the group from China, and DANCE..... You knew it, it was for us <SMJK PHOR TAY from Penang> Woohooo!!! We were so happy and shocked but we did not scream at all like the other groups. We kept humble and took many photos until the end of the day. Then we went for supper at McDonalds, but I wasn't feeling well so I didn't eat anything. When I got back to my room I only drank Milo and ate biscuits, beside I also ate the stomacahe medicine. Then we went to bed at 1.30am.

30 Nov (Fri)

Today is the last day of our stay but since our bus only arrive at 2.30pm. We decided to go for the outdoor theme park this time which cost RM50 per person but it was worth it. This is the first time I have ever ridden on such horrifying rides in my life. We rode the

Flying coaster (the ones where we lie on our tummy) ~We rode it 2 times~

Corkscrew (a 360degree turn roller coaster)

Pirate ship (ship that swing back and forth)

Grand Prix Fun Kart (race car)

Space shot (the chair that goes up high in the sky and cmes down fast)

Tea cup ( spinning cup)

Double Deck Carousel (sit on the horse and go up and down)

Spinner (swings that spin around in the air) ~We rode it 2 times as well~

So terrifying yet exciting rides. We reached Penang at 8.30pm. And I got home at 9pm.

It was a long journey. But it was fun and full of adventures I hope my next trip will be with my friends and not the ones I went with now only.
